Não houve movimentos a seguir, nem astros do design, nem “dos and don’ts”./ A few years ago an Israeli designer told me that designers in his country had no limits to create because the design was not something with history or significance in Israel. There were no movements to follow, no design stars, nor “dos and don’ts.”

Desde então, venho conhecendo vários excelentes designers israelenses, sobretudo designers de produto, com criatividade ilimitada. Isso me faz pensar que a sexta edição da Jerusalem Design Week (JDW), que aconteceu este ano na Hansen House, no Telephone Exchange Building e no Nature Museum, deve ter sido um programão./ Since then, I’ve been meeting several excellent Israeli designers, mostly product designers, with unlimited creativity. This makes me think that the sixth edition of Jerusalem Design Week, which happened this year at Hansen House, the Telephone Exchange Building, and the Nature Museum, must have been a great program.
