“Olhos” em você/ “Eyes” on you

Estas janelas parecem olhar para todas as pessoas que caminham à sua frente. Elas são como penetrantes “olhos” grandes de um detetive ou grandes lentes de um fotógrafo. Localizado em Ivanhoe, um bairro residencial um pouco pra fora de Melbourne, Austrália, o projeto é assinado por BKK Architects e as fotos são de Peter Bennetts e Shannon McGrath./ These windows seem to look at all the people who walk in front of them. They are like smart big “eyes” of a detective or big lenses of a photographer. Located in Ivanhoe, a residential neighborhood just outside of Melbourne, Australia, the project is signed by BKK Architects and the photos are by Peter Bennetts and Shannon McGrath.

O prédio de apartmentos chamado Cirqua Apartments possui grandes janelas de vigia que “encaram” a rua, e um exterior de tijolo e metal. Abriga 42 apartamentos, tendo 38 deles um layout diferenciado. Na sala de estar, há uma grande janela./The apartment building called Cirqua Apartments features large porthole windows that “face” the street, and an exterior of brick and metal. It houses 42 apartments, with 38 of them having a unique layout. In the living room, there is a large window.

Ao lado da sala, existe uma porta que fornece acesso a uma pequena varanda./ Just off the living room there is a door that provides access to a small balcony.

No quarto, uma grande janela oferece ampla luz natural./ In the bedroom, a large window provides ample natural light.

No banheiro, um espelho redondo é mais um círculo para ver./ In the bathroom, a round mirror is one more circle to see.

Elementos circulares podem ser encontrados em todo o interior, como no corredor, onde os designers usaram discos no teto e nas paredes./ Circular elements can be found throughout the interior, like in the hallway, where the designers have used discs on the ceiling and on the walls.

E, até mesmo na cozinha, há um “olho” grande olhando para você./ And even in the kitchen there is a big “eye” looking at you.

É uma maneira diferente de ser visto e de ver o mundo./It is a different way to be seen and to see the world.
